The Accident - 100 word story

Gliding the well-directed good length delivery towards deep mid-wicket fielder, in a jam-packed arena, Ram pushed for a double. By the time, he started back to complete his double, noticed that the finish line was way beyond the reach; also was raining dreadfully.

He was running, but wasn’t even moving a bit. He looked absolutely petrified.

“Come on, come on,” growled the players and spectators, who happened to be his parents and friends with a glimpse of an eye.

And then he realized, in a wheelchair on his lawn, was daydreaming about his college days.
