It all started during 2011 world cup when I was posting about the matches, Indian matches in particular, on my Facebook wall. It was much-admired by many of my friends. And one person came back saying, “You have a way with words.” It really felt good. I took it seriously and started allocating time for writing.

Creatikaa (my blog) was up and I started to writing and expressing things in my own way. Initially, my only audience was my friends. I literally pestered them to read my works and share their views. And each time I see a comment on my blog post, the happiness I experience isn't easy to be expressed through words. Be it a simple nice post, good one or an elongated comment, the very sight of it just overwhelms me.

And my extensive research to improve my writing landed me at the blogging communities like Blogadda and Indiblogger, where I interacted with various bloggers across our nation and abroad. Series of contest hosted on both the platforms motivated me to be regular, which in turn improved my flow of language. Besides reaching out to people, my words started receiving positive receptions, especially from the writers (whom I admire) like Maniparna, Ravish Mani and Saru Singhal. 

The comments induced me to increase the pace of writing, which introduced me to many established writers. One such person was Rohan Chaubey, young dynamic blogger from Mumbai who writes about social media, programming, blogging and self-development. Impressed by my writings, he not only advised me to work on the technical aspects of my blog but also offered to enhance the visual appeal of my blog. Thanks to him, my blog was refurbished with an attractive template, complimenting the words. 

It was last year 2014 when I discovered a potential writer in me, when my first short story got published (The Accident). It was a great learning experience, I must admit. I worked day and night in carefully carving out a story that was troubling my mind for quite a while. I learned various intricacies involved while writing a story. 

I was also curious in knowing writers and bloggers from Chennai and then I discovered CBC (Chennai Bloggers Club). I joined the group, interacted with a few, attended events and shaked hands with more bloggers. I enjoy reading their blogs as well. Most importantly, I could see more aspiring authors/novelists in CBC, which connects me well with the group as I am also on the same line.

Writing made me grow as a responsible person. It made me express things in a better manner. It made me to think and interpret situations. It also made me to work for the change. I thank all my readers for their constant support and encouragement.
