Why Delhi zoo incident suck/s...???

You would have seen numerous comments and post about the recent Delhi zoo incident in social media platforms. The matter is simple, 'The tiger killed the human who had reportedly passed over into its enclosure at Delhi zoo.' Later on the picture of the shocking incident went viral, people have been expressing their own point of views about the incident. Some claim that the masses, who were pelting stones to distract the tiger provoked the wild cat to attack the humans because the heavy creature  was curiously watching him for nearly 15 minutes before getting on to the act.
Very recently, another theory that has been put forward sounding ridiculous as well as illogical. A message is being spread on social media that claims the forensic report of the incident says the tiger was trying to save the man from the stone-throwing onlookers and kept him far from the public. This was explained in relation with an act of tigress, who catches its kids by the neck to shift them to places and also put away from the external threat. The message justifies its claim, stating that there were no injuries on the boy’s body except a wounded throat.
But one detail is enough to puncture the claim is that, the creature was male and its name is Vijay. Why such an uproar over an incident in which tiger reacted according to its natural instinct. Can we, at least, leave the tiger now?

  1. The tiger probably got frightened and indeed reacted by its natural instinct....just tried to save itself. The negligence of the zoo authority and over smartness of the spectators were responsible for the incident....not the tiger itself...

    1. Absolutely Maniparna, Tiger cannot be blamed at any case. It is already pulled out from its home i.e. wild, just for the sake of entertaining us. Sad on its part!

  2. I too found the whole tiger-trying-to-save-boy theory full of loopholes and an unlikely case... Talk about being creative!

  3. I've a little confusion, do male tiger not carry their children at all? Well, leave the tiger outside and also the ridiculous theory but I must salute the dare to think of positive attitude at this unfortunate event. We can never know what was going in that tiger's mind. But at least we can give benefit of doubt and a positive outlook to everything.

    1. Actually Ravish, female tiger i.e. tigress only takes care of its kids and it tries to keep the kids away from its male counterpart. Also male tiger doesn't have the tendency to handle the kids delicately. Apart from that I appreciate your view on this. Thanks for your comment!

  4. I too would like to think the tiger was being protective, though we will never know what went through its mind.

    1. May be or may be not. As you pointed out, nobody knows what went through its mind at that time. Knowing all these things, people crack their head to find the answer that's the problem.

  5. I would blame the Zoo visitors behavior. Some one has enough time to take photographs, video document the entire episode. But none of them thought about chasing the tiger from approaching the victim??? by way of just through fire or frighten the tiger through shouting. Victim instead of bow in front of tiger had he shout and express dangerous and arrogant posture he would have escape from the danger. Lack of Education with regard to How to react in critical situations in life Hope our formal education sytem will teach younger generation the ART OF LIVING
