Two times title winners, three times runners-up and once
semi-finalist! Is Chennai Super Kings really strong to achieve this remarkable
feat or there is a reason behind all these? This is a widely discussed topic
around cricketing communities for the past three days. This discussion evolved
soon after their controversial owner Gurunath Meyyappan arrested on betting
charges. All eyes on India Cements Srinivasan, who is also a present BCCI
chairman, next!
Why do you think CSK doesn’t have involved in fixing?
CSK has one of the best players of world cricket starting
from world cup winning captain MS Dhoni to Mr. Cricket Michael Hussey and the
most consistent Raina to the most prolific Badrinath. Bowling unit includes the
best from OZ (Hilfenhaus, Bollinger, Nannes) and the most emerging off break
bowler in recent times R Ashwin. Apart from this CSK also have utility players
like Jadeja and Bravo, who is best in all departments. Meanwhile every players,
whether playing or not, getting heavily paid for each matches both with money
and girls which is what IPL is very famous for.
Why do you think there is a possibility?
Bookies have an attractive ability to influence every player
with their magical offers which is even brighter than what IPL provides. To be
specific, IPL’s offer is calculated based on a match whereas Bookie’s offer is
based on each over or even sometimes, a delivery. However, even though there
are a bunch of star players in the team there will be only one or two
performing at crisis situation which is more evident from last night’s finale.
Whether CSK, as a team or individuals or owner alone,
involved in fixing/betting remains a biggest question whereas the real question
is do they really deserve praise and support from the people (crazy fans)???
Please think twice before fighting for the IPL tickets……!!!
