Because she is the Woman and she is Awesome - Women's Day thoughts

As she steps out from the womb

She is yelled at with disdain

With thwarted and enraged eyes

Yet her sparkling eyes glitter

As she grows old

She care and support as a sister

Motivate and inspire as a friend

But to appreciated her, we don’t care

Time after time

She is being questioned

For her modish outfits

For not being courteous

For raising questions

Yet she answers politely with pride

She clean, cook and washes

Accepts the position as a housewife

She is crushed, scorned and exhausted

and pushed away to the corner

Sheds her blood and gives a life

Being used as an object for pleasure

She laughs, takes comfort and hides her pain

She tolerates pain and remains unruffled

Ignores ill-treatment on purpose

And make others feel happy and fulfilled

She is a pure bliss in heart and soul

Because she is the Woman and she is awesome!
