Desserts Master Class - Chef Jacob's Cook and Dine series

The cook and dine series of Marriott
Chennai continues to intrude the cooking enthusiast. And for the month of July
(2016) the master class got more interesting with delicious desserts; icing to
the cake was the tag "No Bake
Desserts", and it couldn't get much more interesting. As Chef Jacob started presenting some
promising desserts without eggs and oven, the energy at Rhapsody (venue) amped up.
The recipes due for the class was Chocolate
Peanut Butter Bars and Nutella Cheesecake; two
things that can never go wrong is peanut butter and nutella. I was drooling
more than paying attention to the cooking details.
You are going to love this peanut butter bars much more if you are
a fan of Reese's peanut butter cups; the crumbly crunch from the biscuit with
the creamy peanut-butter and chocolate layer will make you salivate. The
glimpse of salt makes the taste sublime.
Silky and yummy nutella cheesecakes were next in line, it was made without egg or
setting agent so it got blissful and perfect for the vegetarians. The crusty
base and crispy nuts balanced the sweetness perfectly. The cheesecake cannot become
more creamy, silky and chocolatey.

And wiser people become Chefs (atleast I
think so), he was patient enough to answer all the questions directed to him
about the delights. Before winding off, my most favourite cooking technique - Tempering
Chocolate was taught. Accuracy, patience and practice were the
virtue to get beautifully shaped curls and designs of chocolate. And he used white chocolate, the texture was smooth
and taste was divine.

After extravagant treat to visuals and
palate, a sumptuous lunch was awaiting at Paprika.
A never ending buffet with soups, salads, starters, mains and desserts to
finish of the session with food and delicious food.

So these 'Cook and Dine' classes are hosted
at Marriott by Courtyard Chennai on monthly basis during one of the Saturday.
This session costs Rs. 800 INR per person
including the buffet lunch at Paprika.

Oh, the Nutella cheesecake looks so tempting! Please please please post the recipe. It's really hard to find good vegetarian recipes for desserts! ������
